Want out interpretation of this? Brands need to realize that the Social Graph is already created (think Facebook, MySpace, etc). The cost associated with building your own, especially for short run campaigns, is prohibitive. So don’t.

We can’t agree more with this article and the importance of making HTML 5 the best it can be, as we’ll be living with it for a very long time. Add to this, Microsoft’s gift to the world, IE6 and its cockroach appeal to corporations, we need something that will be backward compatible for a very long time...
